The Qatar Grand Prix is over and Max Verstappen takes another win but he was under attack from Oscar Piastri and Lando Norris in the Mclaren as Mclaren's resurgence continues. Piastri won the sprint race and Mclaren came as close as anyone has all year barring Singapore to beating Red Bull. But what did we learn well I have done a data analysis from a hectic Qatar race.
Mercedes were poised to attack early on but Lewis Hamilton and George Russell came together and ruined any hope they had of fighting Verstappen. Carlos Sainz was out before the race even began for Ferrari and his teammate Charles Leclerc struggled for pace and was not much faster than Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin who had an excellent race apart from his spin. And we saw the worlds fastest pitstop.
