Qualifying for the Singapore Grand Prix is over and in what has to be the most shocking session of the year both Max Verstappen and Sergio Perez in the Red Bull was eliminated in Q2 and Lance Stroll in the Aston Martin had a massive crash but what did we learn. Well I did a data analysis as we look at all of the data to see what we could learn. Ferrari were strong again as Carlos Sainz takes pole position and Charles Leclerc finished the day in P3 but between them is a resurgent George Russell in the Mercedes as Mercedes also had a strong day.
Fernando Alonso in the Aston Martin will be disappointed with P7 but there was not much more that he could achieve as Aston Martin continue to slip backwards. Oscar Piastri in the Mclaren was unlucky with the incident as it cost him a shot at Q2 but the upgraded Mclaren looks strong as Lando Norris was able to finish in P4 and looks good for a potential podium in Sunday's race.
I will be looking at all of this plus more with the midfield in this Data Analysis video.
