Practice for Suzuka is over and the fastest driver of the day was Max Verstappen in the Red Bull as they are looking to recover from a disastrous Singapore Grand Prix, but so far the Japanese grand prix has been a big success for them. Once again rather surprisingly the closest rivals to Red Bull is looking like Ferrari as Charles Leclerc and Carlos Sainz both had a strong day with Leclerc in P2 and Sainz in P4, Mclaren also look strong with Lando Norris in P3, Mercedes however are looking a little lost with George Russell in P5 but Lewis Hamilton all the way down in P14 struggling for grip in the Mercedes right now.
Aston Martin are still falling backwards as Fernando Alonso was P6 and Lance Stroll was P11. Pierre Gasly in the Alpine sadly has his day come to an early end with a crash.
But what will happen in Suzuka well watch my video and find out my thoughts.
