(Factorio 15) New Ship Design And Heading Back To Nauvis (Backlogging 68)
1New Ship Just Dropped ̶O̶u̶t̶ ̶O̶f̶ ̶T̶h̶e̶ ̶S̶k̶y̶ .
Man, these Big Mining Drills are just BELCHING out pollution like it's nobodies business. Behemoth Biters are coming into play now too, so things might get a bit dicey on Nauvis. I overhauled a bit of the mining areas on Nauvis with my new Big Mining Drills, where are 5 times better than the normal drills, and also have a bigger mining area(which helps get the mini patches scattered around).
I also designed a new ship in this episode, which still had some flaws I won't realize until an episode or two later. Fun times. But the new ship does it's job just fine since the Starter Ship couldn't keep up with ammo production, and nearly exploded with regular trips between Vulcanus and Nauvis. I might need to make yet another ship since it seems the thrust is still a bit low on speed, though I don't really need ships that can go 200. Certainly an upgraded ship could come into play for Aquilo once all the first 3 planet sciences are unlocked. There's a few new recipes locked behind all the sciences that I'll probably have to use at some point.
