Tokyo Jungle has a unique story for a unique and quirky game idea (except nothing less from Japan!) After an unknown disaster removes the human element from the entire city of Tokyo, pets and wild animals via for control of territory, food and mates while unwittingly uncovering the secrets behind the previous dominant species' extinction.
As a fan of animal films and post apocalyptic tales the combination to me would be difficult but fascinating in a live action movie. Imagine essentially a nature film, probably from the perspective of a plucky mutt and his tribe, without any dialogue that simply follows our hero/heroine on their journey through the wreckage of civilization, battling rivals, hunting, and eventually raising a family.
The tone of the game for all it's somewhat solemn atmosphere tends to be played up comedically with cute costumes for the animals and tongue in cheek trailers, but if there's anything I love doing it's darkening up things that might not have been intended to be so XD
