Fallout 3 Playthrough (No Commentary) Part 25: Big Trouble in Big Town
This is a casual playthrough of Fallout 3, Karma decisions will be made according to what I feel is right.
Big Town is an interesting place despite the fact there is little to nothing there.
It is inhabited by young people who grew up in the children only settlement Little Lamplight and was forced to leave at age 16. (we’ll check out Little Lamplight once we get back to the main quest)
The quest itself is pretty simple, save the people trapped by the supermutants and get your reward. The interesting part is when they ask you for help defending the town after you finish the quest.
The methods you can teach the town to defend itself is dependent on your skills, small guns let you teach them to shoot, explosives to use mines, science to use robots or sneak to hide from the mutants. You can naturally fight the mutants yourself or just leave them to their fate if you wish too.
The biggest reward however is if you save the guy in Red’s clinic, if you got high enough medicine skills you can revive him and if you help Big Town in the defense, then you get a special 8 ball which gives a permanent 1+ luck.
Red can also be sold to the slavers in Paradise Falls, but I already killed them all so there is no point to that, if I even wanted to do so...
In this part, We teach a town filled with manchildren to defend themselves from mutants by programming deadly military robots.
