Fallout 3 (Xbox One X) - Gameplay
Welcome to Game Play. A series, of sorts, where I check out various video games and share my experiences with you.
Today we're taking a look at Fallout 3 (Xbox One X).
Fallout 3 is a classic. For me, at least.
I've loved this game ever since I first played it way back in the days on the Playstation 3. I loved the atmosphere, the setting and the massive open world that's just begging to be explored. Simply traversing the Wasteland while listening to the cheerful music from the Pip-Boy creates a truly beautiful and surprisingly immersive gameplay experience that I will always cherish.
The story is just interesting enough to keep me engaged in the search for dear ol' dad, and the sidequests as well as other quest lines feel varied and engaging. Many of the characters do feel very similar due to technical constraints in terms of both graphics and somewhat limited amount of voice-actors working on the project.
The Bethesda games have always been plagued by bugs and several flaws that will test the patience of each player. Fallout 3 is certainly no exception. Despite this, however, Fallout 3 still remains one of my favorite games of all time. I simply love to explore the world and immerse myself into the lore, plot and narrative of the DC Wasteland.
If you haven't yet checked it out, I can definitely recommend you doing so. It's a great game with loads of things to do, places to explore and choices to make. And Super Mutants to kill.
The game was recorded directly on the Xbox One X to an external HDD. No postwork has been done.
