...I say Famitracker, and it is, but I went more for a Game Boy style of sound.

Things to note - I wanted to do a remix of the Three vs Three song from the American soundtrack of Pokemon: The First Movie for a long time, but wasn't sure if it would be any good. That track happened to be my favorite song from the entire film, just barely surpassing Tears of Life for that crown, but it's only due to the battle theme used in "Three vs Three" that I love it so much. It's basically a darker version of the wild Pokemon theme that you've heard from the games (and from the anime, down to the intro of the battle being a pitch-shift from the anime's remix of the Wild Encounter theme).

With that in mind, I wanted to make the 8-bit remix sound as close to the games as possible with the number of resources I have on hand, and that meant no percussion (none of the battle themes in the GB/C era Pokemon games had percussion, possibly to compensate for the sfx used in battles). I also tried to loop it in Famitracker itself because I was feeling particularly lazy and didn't want to loop it in Audacity.

I was planning on posting this today anyway, did it as I was heading back in town, but I noticed that the Pokemon Symphonic Evolutions was happening in two days, so I decided that I'd get this out of the way.

Pokemon: The First Movie's original soundtrack was done by Ralph Schuckett and John Loeffler (really great job, you two!).
