FE3H Loop 3 (VW) Chapter 20 -- Conclusion of the Crossing Roads
0Here we are, for the third time, battling within the halls of the Imperial Castle. This version is much more akin to the Silver Snow battle than the Azure Moon battle. Case in point, we're not seeing Hegemon Edelgard awaiting us.
We do, however, have some pretty powerful forces waiting for us instead. In fact, they have us pretty much surrounded. Maybe not tightly surrounded, but in every direction from our starting point, they've got someone ready to attack.
But hey, you know what? I seem to remember a question that would come up during lessons at the Academy. "What should you do if the enemy has you surrounded?" If you're thinking you should punch a hole through their formation and press through the opening, congrats, you passed the exam!
See, the funny thing about this map is, all you need to do is take out Edelgard, and the only obstacle in the way, aside from the enemies, is a single regular door that unlocks with a regular door key. You've got enemies to the east, west, and south, but they're not actually your objective. The prizes they haven't aren't actually any good! A stat booster at this late stage of the game? A shield that negates a weakness the enemy can't even exploit?? A weapon I can just buy freely??? I don't need these distractions!!!
Let's just hurry up and save Rhea as quickly as possible so we can finally get some fricken answers over here!
