0So, if you decided to teach the Black Eagles, the only time you're allowed to recruit Hilda is this in-game month. But, as you can see, we're not in the monastery, so we can't even talk to her! So much for that.
It's okay, the roster crunch is real.
What we get instead is a simple camp, far smaller than the monastery, and a chance to check in on all the students. They've all got their own reasons for following Edelgard, whether it's because they see the dark nature of the Church, they want to travel their own path, they're drawn in by Edelgard's charisma, or because they just trust Baeleth.
I decided to include a few supports at the end, just because they were B-ranks that unlock at chapter 12. For Baeleth/Edelgard and Lysithea/Edelgard, it makes sense. In the former, Edelgard talks about being too busy now that she's emperor, and in the latter, they talk about Lysithea having two crests, like Edelgard. Not entirely sure why Ferdinand/Constance have to wait this long, though. Maybe something about it changes depending on which path you're on? Weird.
