Fell Seal: Arbiter's Mark - Part 7 Ekhidna Falls, Jungle Temple, Second Visit to Thespeiros
This is the video where the randomness in the story mode missions finally reaches the breaking point. To put into context, in the temple battle I dropped the Gunner down to 1 hit from death. Then I missed 3 attacks in a row, each having 90%+ accuracy. Then with Renew, a Potion, and some help from the healer, he was instantly back at full health. I reload, all of the reaction abilities are different, and the fight plays out radically differently. I would not mind having such variation in the patrols, but that this is the actual story mode is utterly mind blowing. The RNG factor is cranked up to an unnecessary level, and without foreknowledge, you could walk into a situation where you never stood a chance. Sadly, you're going to see it again in the next video as RNG makes a fight drag out for an hour. I kind of liked what I saw in the game originally, but as things start opening up, I am very quickly being disenchanted with the game. I just find it extremely disappointing that the main missions can vary so much to the point where strategies available become constrained.
