You actually fight him three (or even four, if you count the Terra solo part) times, but I decided not to record all of them and, instead, just upload the most difficult of the 3/4 battles.

When you fight him again, he uses Bababreath to blow away two of your characters. I made sure Sabin and Edgar were the ones to stay.

Reasons? Sabin's become the party's best attacker with the excellent new Blitz Bum Rush, taught by Duncan. This Blitz ignores the enemy's properties and is far superior to the Aura Bolt we've been using.

Edgar is there because of his Tools, most especially Debilitator. Phunbaba uses Bolt 2 & 3 against us, which either kill the target unprotected by reflect or, otherwise, bounce back and heal him (he absorbs lightning damage). Without Celes with us, we can't Runic those spells to prevent either, so we debilitate Phunababa to lightning. That way, he deals damage to himself instead of making it harder for Sabin to finish him off with the blitzes.

Once he is debilitated to lightning, let Wall Rings do the work while Sabin blitzes and Edgar drills. I didn't bother reviving Terra - you have no chance to change her equipment, therefore she dies from any lightning spell thrown at her. However, if I did revive her whenever she fell, I wouldn't have any risky situations. Thing is, without risk this challenge is not fun at all.
