FF7 Hard Mod - Low Level No Items - Hundred & Heli Gunner
6This a modified version of FF7 which enhances the HP/MP and stats of enemies and bosses. Don't bother with asking me where to find it. Google will be your loyal guide and friend.
First off, stuff that was done since the last video:
-Aeris has a Striking Staff that I stole way back before I got to the Reno battle.
-Stole a Hardedge for Cloud and a Carbon Bangle for each party member
-Had Red XIII learn Lunatic High
-Leveled Cloud to 12 (I was hoping not to do this, but the Rufus fight forced me to do it)
With that out of the way, onto the fight.
Hundred Gunner is much easier to contend with than Sample:HO512 and its minions. Sure, a critical can end any character's day here, but it's only one target attacking you. Bolt spells are the attack of choice here with Lunatic High helping to give the party more turns.
At the Main Artillery phase, everyone has access Cure with All linked to it. Each person can only use it once of course, but you usually need only 2 of 3 Cure-Alls here to force it into Sensor Cannon mode.
Then...it's taken out before it can use the Sensor Cannon. Aeris and Red XIII defend before the next part of the fight begins.
Heli Gunner is more of a powerhouse. One attack can nearly take out Aeris from full HP so she needs to defend coming into this part of the fight to not risk being double attacked and killed.
Hopefully none of the cannons cause status effects or things could get complicated.
When Heli gets near 600 HP, I have Aeris activate Planet Protector. That's because when Heli goes into its 2nd phase, it can one shot anyone with Flying Drill or Spinning Bodyblow if he/she isn't defending.
Aeris needs to defend before PP wears off so she can survive if attacked. Red and Barret die quickly while Aeris ends this fight with one last Bolt spell.
