FFVII Hard Mod - Low Level No Items - Bottomswell
5This a modified version of FF7 which enhances the HP/MP and stats of enemies and bosses. Don't bother with asking me where to find it. Google will be your loyal guide and friend.
There's a few things that were done since the last video long ago:
- Learned Flame Thrower and Matra Magic E.Skills
- Had Cloud, Aeris, and Red each gain a level (Cloud 13, Aeris 14, Red 13 for this fight). The reason for that is not because of this boss battle, but the next one.
- Got everyone under Sadness via Elfadunks
Anyways, this fight isn't really anything special. Poisoning it right away is the obvious move. After that, I start smacking it with whatever attacks I can muster. The only things that can delay attacking a bit are...
- Bodyblow. Can easily one shot anyone if he/she doesn't have Sadness.
- Tail Attack on everyone.
- Waterpolo. Red has Fire while Aeris has the E.Skill materia and thusly has access to Flame Thrower. The thing about this is that Waterpolos are strong enough to survive two fire spells (One Flame Thrower though is enough to break a Waterpolo).
I just keep hitting Bottomswell until its HP is around 1100 or less. That's when I just let the poison status finish this boss off while staying alive until it has ~300 HP left or so, then get Cloud and Red on low enough HP so the final Big Wave kills them both while Aeris remains standing.
