The mandatory action done in this episode is training Quina while she is equipped properly (as detailed in the next section and the annex file), then ending her Disc 3/before Shimering Island training when her "next level up" value is higher than 26376 (timecode: from 25:55 to 36:45).
Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* You will notice an important drop in image quality from the episode 44 and onwards, due to a forced device replacement (the previous phone was stolen). I would suggest then setting the video quality at the max 720p in order to make it bearable.
* The purpose of making the next level up value higher than 26376 for Garnet and Quina before entering Shimmering Island is to be able, during the Pandemonium mini bosses section, to carry equipped certain items without gaining a level (their Disc 3 trainings do not harm their final stats by the way).
* Before Quale's battle, I mad sure that Vivi and Eiko were equipped properly (details in the annex file) to absorb Quale's EXP points, and that Master Thief and Bandit were activated.
* Defeating Quale is not listed among the mandatory actions because other requirements of the challenge imply doing the action.
* I got rid of Quale's battle so early in order to have at disposal a Ninja Gear and a second Robe of Lords (without wasting Hot & Cold points).
* Reminder of Quina's mandatory equipment setups for training (final results at level 99 without equipment: Speed = 25; Strength = 61; Magic = 80; Spirit = 40; Magic Stones = 69)
- 66 levels in Disc 3/4: Holy Miter / Magic Armlet / Robe of Lords / Ribbon.
- 23 levels in Disc 3/4: Holy Miter / Magic Armlet / Black Robe / Ribbon.
- 9 levels in Disc 4: Holy Miter / Magic Armlet / Dark Gear / Ribbon.
