There may be actions that are done for practical purpose or for no particular purpose in the playthrough; the mandatory actions done in this episode are the following and they can be used as a guide (note that during this playthrough, certain actions can only be done during a short period of time and others can be postponed; note also that there is the possibility I may have missed events like dialogue replacement, sprite change, additional scenes and so on, since those are not generally considered as goals and are not documented at all):
* Arrange to possess the following items amounts: 99 copies of Sargatanas, Diamond Sword, Flame Saber, Rune Blade, Trident, Heavy Lance, Obelisk, Mythril Claws, Scissor Fangs, Asura's Rod, Fairy Flute, Hamelin, Octagon Rod, Silver Fork, Diamond Gloves, Black Hood, Leather Plate, Chain Plate, Judo Uniform, Silk Robe and Gold Armor, and 100 copies of Tiger Fangs, 101 Bandanas, 102 Green Berets, 100 copies of Thief Gloves, 105 Mythril Vests and 100 Diamond Armors (as a reminder, the 100th Chain Mail has been turned into a 100th Power Belt prior to this operation; Zorlin Shape should also be maximized as it is part of the 28 mandatory items to maximize in Disc 3 after obtaining Hilda Garde 3, even if it can be purchased in Bran Bal and Pandemonium; timecode: the first main purchase session starts at 27:30; the last purchase is done at 1:28:44).
* Ensure that Steiner is carrying the 100th copy of Silver Gloves and the 100th Diamond Armor (timecode: 1:23:58).
Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* You will notice an important drop in image quality from the episode 44 and onwards, due to a forced device replacement (the previous phone was stolen). I would suggest then setting the video quality at the max 720p in order to make it bearable.

* The battle to get in Virus status the three characters used for the Gils auto/turbo controller farming is shown from 03:30 to 08:10.

* In parallel of the 21 million Gils farming, the mandatory items maximization must of course be done since the maximum Gils that can be carried in FF9 in 10 million Gils, and it consisted of five main sessions of purchase (without counting the last minor ones after completing the Gils farming and equipping the characters with the mandatory items to equip): in Esto Gaza from 27:30 to 28:00, in Oeilvert from 32:20 to 33:03, in Daguerreo (1/2) from 39:30 to 40:00, in Daguerreo (2/2) from 47:45 to 50:18, and in Black Mage Village from 1:07:20 to 1:08:56.
* The optimal manual method to farm Gils in Disc 3 (and in the whole game) is the "Cotton Robe trick" demonstrated with two loops from 01:13:00 to 01:19:00 in this video, and it allows collecting approximately 1300000 Gils per hour when playing an NTSC FF9 on an NTSC PS1.
* The item inventory's resulting from the items maximization to do before entering Shimering Island is shown from 1:29:09 to 1:31:00.
