There may be actions that are done for practical purpose or for no particular purpose in the playthrough; the mandatory actions done in this episode are the following and they can be used as a guide (note that during this playthrough, certain actions can only be done during a short period of time and others can be postponed; note also that there is the possibility I may have missed events like dialogue replacement, sprite change, additional scenes and so on, since those are not generally considered as goals and are not documented at all):
* Obtain a Leather Wrist (timecode: 01:49).
* Obtain a Bronze Vest (timecode: 02:04).
* Obtain a Mimic Card (timecode: 02:15).
* Obtain a Steepled Hat (timecode: 02:18).
* Watch the ATE "Steam Engine" (timecode: 03:15).
* Obtain 127 Gil (timecode: 04:05).
* Talk to Member No.28 (timecode: 04:14).
* Talk to Fan Club Chairman (timecode: 04:36).
* Obtain 68 Gil (timecode: 06:54).
* Obtain 97 Gil (timecode: 06:57).
* Obtain 282 Gil (timecode: 07:01).
* Watch the ATE "Baku and His Crew" (timecode: 07:15).
* Obtain an Ore (timecode: 08:37).
* Obtain the Moogle Suit (timecode: 08:40).
* Talk to Lowell and obtain the Autograph (timecode: 08:45).
* Trigger the scene with the soldiers in the corridor (timecode: 12:09).
* Defeat the max number of festival monsters and steal the Needle Fork from Zaghnol (the Needle Fork is necessary for max stats later; the max number must be 14 if you decide to let Vivi win the festival like I did, while it must be 15 if you decide to let Zidane or Freya win; timecode: from 21:00 to 33:00).
* Obtain a Wyerd Card (timecode: 36:54).
* Read the description of the key item "Master Hunter" (timecode: 37:47).
* Read the letter from Stiltzkin to Moonte with Moonte (timecode: 37:52).
* Obtain a Tent (timecode: 37:59).

Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* I could have obtained the Mini-Burmecia which appears at 07:06, but I always prefer to obtain this key item in Disc 2, in which the proper sprite of the Mini-Burmecia figurine is used, instead of the Garnet doll sprite like used in Disc 1.
* Despite not allowing to defeat all the festival monsters, I decided to make Vivi winning the festival a valid option because it is an option the game offers, and the reward (Theater Ship Card) got by doing so is not less valuable than the two other potential rewards, since all the rewards are worth 1 "treasure point". The other reason for this choice is the practical side: defeating all 15 monsters (including the Zaghnol) and stealing the Needle Fork with Zidane at level 1 is a very difficult task to achieve with the loading times of the PS1 (although possible), and since I want my challenge to be player friendly, I am therefore very happy to have circumvented the initial mandatory "achievement" of defeating all the 15 festival monsters.
