There may be actions that are done for practical purpose or for no particular purpose in the playthrough; the mandatory actions done in this episode are the following and they can be used as a guide (note that during this playthrough, certain actions can only be done during a short period of time and others can be postponed; note also that there is the possibility I may have missed events like dialogue replacement, sprite change, additional scenes and so on, since those are not generally considered as goals and are not documented at all):
* Talk to one of the two nobles in Treno's entrance screen (timecode: 01:01).
* Read the "WANTED!" notice about Amarant (this changes a dialogue appearing later in Disc 2; timecode: 02:55).
* Refuse Marcus' proposition to leave right away to retrieve the Supersoft (timecode: 03:03).
* Equip Marcus properly for his upcoming long training (timecode: from 06:37 to 06:55; his training in this challenge must be 26 levels with Bandana, Leather Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle, 12 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle, and 60 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Gold Choker).
* Leave Tot's screen by the tower's stairs to make his sprite unavailable without entering Gargan Roo (timecode: 10:20).
* Watch the ATE "Crime and Punishment" (timecode: 10:45).
* Deliver the letter from Nazna to Mochos (timecode: 12:35).
* Obtain a Phoenix Down (timecode: 13:10).
* Obtain a Chain Plate (timecode: 13:15).
* Train Marcus according to his training setups (timecodes: the very first battle starts at 13:19, and the last battle of this episode ends at 40:50).
* Read the description of the key item "Supersoft" (timecode: 29:19).
* Obtain an Ether (timecode: 35:43).
* Obtain an Ether (timecode: 35:53).
* Read the writing on the wall about Vivi (timecode: 35:56).
* Obtain an Ether (timecode: 36:32).
* Obtain the Scorpio (timecode: 36:35).
* Read the description of the key item "Scorpio" (timecode: 36:50).

Extra info/corrections/comments on this episode:
* Reminder of Marcus' mandatory training setups:
- 26 levels with Bandana, Leather Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle.
- 12 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Glass Buckle.
- 60 levels with Bandana, Bone Wrist, Chain Plate and Gold Choker.
* The goal of Marcus' training with the above equipment setups is to exploit a glitch that makes Eiko reach the following target base results at level 99: 43 Speed, 73 Strength, 89 Magic, 48 Spirit and 81 Magic Stones.
* It is recommended to equip the Blood Sword to Marcus during his whole training (note that I replaced Marcus' Blood Sword by another sword in Bentini Heights in this episode because the Blood Sword does not work on Ghosts, and fleeing can be annoyong when Marcus' level is not very high).
