The second of a series of videos I recorded a while back, showcasing a lv. 20 job level 8 Onion Knight SCC. In this one, I tackle one of the tougher maps, the ninja/summoner-infested Yardow Fort City

My party has successfully appropriated some of the best equipment available at this point, and besides three ranged attackers (one boasting the Artemis / Ultimus Bow which I obtained in the first video) also packs the 108 Gems-powered Ice Brand Ramza and a mean PA-stacked 75 Brave male OK.

The two difficulties in this map are, of course, not having Rafa die early (and she starts with her back turned here, which iirc she didn't do in vanilla FFT) and the enemies having very intimidating offensive potential - ninja at pointblank range (though thrown weapons shouldn't be underestimated either) and summoners with their AoE magic and eidolons.

My strategy for a preemptive attack was having my ranged attackers occupy the rooftops and rain down arrows (as well as getting some gunshots in) against the opposition, hopefully taking out one of the summoners to nerf the enemies' ranged offence at this stage.

Since the siblings' Truth / Untruth skills have been greatly buffed in the PSP version, casting more spells when lucky and connecting the targeted tile more often than before, Rafa can actually fight back now, and what will likely be her only attack as she escapes from her persecutors can not merely hurt the enemies but has a good chance to outright kill one of them. Picking up ninja kills becomes easy as a result.

The final challenge, if Rafa doesn't die early on or later on (she survives with 3 HP at the end of the video here), is finishing the battle before anyone on our roaster crystallises - the corpses getting in the way of targeting the ninja on the highest rooftop leave me no chance to attack the last enemy standing until he rushes to attack Rafa, and that's where my fistfighter's high movement range allows him to finish the battle. Rafa was charging a spell at the same time, but the ninja wasn't even on the targeted tile so I couldn't have entrusted the success of this attempt on a relatively unreliable attack.

Ramza didn't get much action with the Ice Brand sadly - usually there are plenty of ninja to fight at the very entrance of the map, but the abundance of my units on the rooftops baited all the ninja away from Ramza. His sole blow was really overkill too - look at that damage!
