I started this challenge quite a while ago and I'm still playing it from time to time. I've been meaning to share recordings from it for some time, but wanted to upload all the MBO+ videos first.

FFT vids generate little interest on my channel, and SSCCs are known for their tedium (luck-reliant battles and glitch manipulation are very abundant), so I'm only going to upload highlights from this challenge, as opposed to, say, every map. I did record all of my victories up to this point (Golgorand Execution Site is where I've been stuck) but I don't feel like uploading all of it even though some moments really stand out (like Ramza OHKOing a Priest with a Thunder Rod in the first Miluda map, which really cracked me up).

SSCC stands for Solo Straight Character Challenge. You're only allowed to use Ramza, and only as a specific class. This is an Oracle SSCC, so it's just Oracle Ramza on his lonesome. Ramza cannot change class from Oracle, nor can he learn any abilities from other classes to help him in his struggle.

Guests can be used in any desired way, and in fact getting through Chapter 1 is all about making Delita a powerful tank, with Ramza running behind him and spamming Paralyze. Oracles only become decent attackers when you can buy your first sticks in shops (stick damage depends on MA and the stick's WT - and Ramza does have the MA of a female), but during Chapter 1 they very much suck.

The reason why Ramza hasn't got much besides Paralyze is because grinding JP with him solo is next to impossible, as he can't protect himself or deal any respectable damage at this point (unless an elemental rod's spell kicks in). The second ability I taught him off Oracle's skillset was Defense Up. He will be taking a lot of physical attacks in this challenge, especially from Archers, and this makes Oracle quite a bit tankier.

I exploited the regular old Chemist loop trick to teach Delita Auto-Potion immediately after the first storyline battle with him. He was already a Monk by Sweegy Woods and that was the same map where Ramza reclassed into Oracle for good, with the rest of the clan sacked.

Delita as a Monk is indeed quite amazing. Much of Chapter 1 is keeping Ramza away from danger, because even with Phoenix Down learnt and Item equipped as secondary, the dumb AI will "forget" about reviving Ramza (which is obviously needed to prevent a game over) and do unnecessary tasks like Wave Fasting a distant Thief with Potion or whatever.

So, Oracle SSCC in Chapter 1 is very much a Delita solo with minor Ramza support. Besides spamming Paralyze (Oracle is the master of draining and debuffs in this game, but his full arsenal will not come into play until well into Chapter 2), Ramza can help with other actions, like redirecting magic unto Algus in the final battle of the chapter.

I needed a lot of resets in this chapter in general, not so much because the maps were complicated (Auto-Potion and Earth Slash do the job all too well) but rather because I insisted that Oracle Ramza makes a good frontline fighter. He doesn't, not even with the Defense Up passive ability.

Anyway, the battles in the video are what I view as the highlights of the chapter. Things get considerably more complicated (as well as glitch and luck reliant) in Chapter 2.
