This video was edited and all ready a week ago but I had problems with Vegas. All fixed now.

The first battle the vid shows is against Ultros. We fight him for the third time, I think. Strago (Magus) has joined the party and though he hasn't got his best Lores yet he's very useful, more than Locke at least. White Wind, learnt on our way to the boss, recovers the party's HP by the amount of Strago's health when the spell is cast (most don't need to hear about this but sometimes people do ask about things like this). Since Locke essentially does nothing in this battle, whenever a Tentacle hits the whole party throwing a Hi-Potion Strago's way and then having him cast White Wind returns the party to full health, that is, assuming the geezer was at full health before Tentacle was used.

Most of the damage can be done to the boss with that Flame Rod we got in the burning mansion (we're only allowed to break the rods that we found in chests in this challenge) and it's obvious that it must be broken by tranced Terra. The damage is huge and then it's just a matter of time before Terra's weak Fire spell and Strago's Stone reduce Ulty's HP to the point where Relm (Loli) comes in and we can use Sketch to end the battle quickly.

Our next boss is... Ultros again. Ultros and his friend Typhon. The latter must go down to end the battle and the only reason why we must severely injure Ultros is to trigger the ugliest thing ever seen in a video game to appear.

Now, both Mog and Gau, invaluable characters at this point, fight in auto-pilot meaning we must choose a Dance and a Rage that deals damage to both Ultros and Typhon. Typhon is weak to water and we have more than enough ways to exploit this weakness, however, it's also the element Ultros absorbs.

That's why we have Gau rage Aspik/Aspiran and Mog does his most versatile Dance (which has a high probability of healing the whole party, by the way). Strago waits until Typhon's advent and then spams Aqua Breath. It doesn't matter that Ultros absorbs it, since we're only interested in hurting Typhon now.

Once Typhon is done for, he snorts us away to fight the Imperial Air Force. We actually get all characters returned to full health too, which is nice.

The boss's parts are weak to water so the choice of attacks here is obvious. Strago uses Aqua Breath, Gau rages Anguiform hoping for the same effect and Mog uses Water Harmony.

The boss has some powerful moves in its arsenal but there's nothing a well-timed White Wind cannot heal. No problem destorying the boss before the countdown ends either.
