FFVI - NENMG Part IV: More Bosses

Number 128 is the last MagiTek Research Facility boss and isn't too hard. Since you can't open up the menu while riding the cart, the first thing to do in this battle is make sure nobody is in critical health. Gau then rages Bomb for the lack of anything better (I didn't bother going back to the Veldt to get Aspik/Aspiran) and Sabin uses Fire Dance since that's his only blitz at this early level to damage multiple enemies at once. Locke does the healing though there isn't much need for it as even without any equipment this boss isn't too hard.
The next battle is against the Cranes and it's quite hard. You can steal a Debilitator from the right one which I did but not during this recording.
Setzet must be unequipped once the battle begins and it's his turn, since we're playing a No Equipment game (he still has his helm but there's nothing you can do about it).
One of the cranes is weak to lightning and the other one doesn't like fire; however, raging Bomb here means Gau may accidentally heal the wrong Crane and lead it one step towards its "overdrive" attack, so I go for the good old Cat Scratch instead. Sabin Aura Bolts and I have Setzer use Slots, even though I've never been very good at utilising this special to its fullest. Locke, as usual, heals. Some of the spells and attacks thrown at us here are quite dangerous and I actually had to reset twice to get this done right.
Flame Eater is the next boss and for this battle our party lacks its best units. We pick up an Ice Rod along the way to the boss in the burning mansion and tranced Terra tosses it at the boss for impressive damage. It's then only a matter of a few turns until the boss dies from the pressure of Strago's Aqua Breath attacks.
