Own Sphere Grid, Rikku Only, No Items, No Overdrives, No Customise, No Spare Change\n\n\nStats: HP 5460, Str 43, Def 21, Mag Def 22, Agi 59, Luck 22\n\nEquipment: Hawkeye (Sensor), Hot Knuckles (Firestrike; bomb-dropped), Prism Claw (Magic Counter), Haste Targe (SOS-Haste), NulFrost Targe (SOS-NulFrost), NulShock Targe (SOS-NulShock), Moon Targe (SOS-NulBlaze, SOS-NulTide)\n\n\nThis was probably my favourite boss battle of the challenge so far - there's minimal luck needed (crits at the wrong time can screw things up, but that's it), just the right equipment and strategy.\n\nSOS-Reflect would make this battle too easy (all of Natus spells including Break can be reflected) so I decided not to use it. \n\nNatus has three phases: he starts with multi-spells, then uses Break once he drops below 24k HP, then Flare when he drops below 12k. The first phase is no problem thanks to our SOS-Nul armours. Without reflect there's no way for Rikku to survive Break (Stone Ward is no protection and we cant get Stoneproof yet) so the only option is to somehow deal enough damage between two of Natus turns that he goes straight from multi-spells to Flare and never uses it.\n\nThis is possible by:\n\n1) Hitting Natus four times with the bomb-dropped Hot Knuckles in the multi-spell phase. This brings him as close to 24k hp as we can get.\n\n2) Equipping the Prism Claw (Magic Counter) - this is crucial because Rikku counters twice against Multi-spell (so we get two hits for free). Also, bringing Natus into the Break phase on his own turn means he won't cast Protect.\n\n3) Forcing Mortibsorption - this does 4000 damage to Natus, which is better than a regular attack. Rikku hits Morty twice in the first phase so that one more hit in the Break phase will trigger Mortibsorption. It's funny how Mortibody basically does nothing useful for Seymour in this battle and actually helps us :).\n\nOnce Natus is out of the Break phase the fight's very easy - Flare does quite a lot of damage but it delays his next turn so much that Rikku can finish him off before seeing it again even with Morty casting Cura.
