The final contingent of the Royal Irish Regiment have arrived home. 73 TA soldiers from Belfast based 2 Royal Irish stepped onto Irish soil to be greeted by friends and family. They have spent the last six months patrolling in the Nad-e Ali South region of Helmand province along side their regular colleagues in the First Battalion.
