This is a straightforward boss. We want to MBarrier right away to reduce the magic damage dealt, then a Speed Drink for Haste, then pound away with Fire. Seal Evil also stops Cobalt XIV, but for some reason, I didn't use it until later on in the fight. Cold Breath inflicts Slow, which is slightly annoying, but not threatening. Cobalt can also attack twice a turn at times. We also want to make sure that Laser hits Red so we can learn it (Red comes in with the Enemy Skill materia) as well as Matra Magic.
