In order to get the Titan materia out of the destroyed Gongaga Reactor, we must first take down the Lich GT, which is a mechanical boss that resembles Motor Ball and even starts the fight just like Motor Ball does! So basically, we want to begin with full HP and a Limit Break up and ready. Lich GT will damage you on its way into the fight, and it can critically strike, which it did here. Thankfully, its first action is always Zombie Powder, which makes the two Attack Squads that accompany it undead, so you have some time to heal up before the Attack Squads attack you.

The big guy is weak to lightning as well as ice, so I have set up Magic Counter + Lightning as well as Ice materia. First off, we'll want to summon Shiva to damage all three of the targets, then we get rid of the two Attack Squads; since they're undead, we can just toss a couple of Hi-Potions at them to finish them. Next, we definetly want to set up Barrier because Lich GT's physical attacks can deal some solid damage. Some of its attacks are considered drain attacks, and will heal the boss a for a little bit each time they damage Aerith. Lich GT's strongest attack is Leech of the Land, but it not only is telegraphed on when it'll use it, it can be absorbed by Geo Stance as well, so we want to prepare that before it uses that. What's funny is that the drain properties of this attack are reversed, so when Leech of the Land is used, Aerith gets healed and the boss is damaged for a little bit. Other than that, this isn't a complicated fight; we just spam Ice, hope for Bolt counters, keep Barrier active as well as healing up when necessary.
