This is definetly the toughest battle thus far. These things can do a lot of damage in a short amount of time, and we're only working with slightly over 500 max HP here. As for the setup, Striking Staff (stole from Eligor at Train Graveyard) is used for its 5 materia slots (2 linked, 3 unlinked), Four Slots is like a poor man's Mystile in that it has 15% to both Defense% and Magic def% which can help evade some attacks. The most important piece of gear here is the Protect Vest, which gives not only +20 Vit, but the super important Shoot resistance, basically reducing the damage of gun attacks and is vital for survival here. You can see how much damage Aerith takes in comparison to either Barret or Red here. Hundred Gunner by itself is not too bad overall; throw up Speed Drink and then a Barrier, then we go to work on him with Bolt while staying healed up and keeping Barrier active. It's got 3,300 HP so it takes a little while to chop his HP down.


After around 1k HP of Hundred Gunner's is removed, it will change forms and start spamming Crown Artillery. More importantly, the first of two Heli Gunners enters the battle, and this is where this fight can get very dangerous. Static Cannon causes paralysis, and if it catches you with low HP, it can mean death. Because of this, we want to get rid of the Heli Gunner ASAP. It actually absorbs lightning, so I toss my two Shrapnels as well as my Fire Fang. We then continue the 1-on-1 with Hundred Gunner until it gets to around 1K HP.


At this point, the second Heli Gunner enters the battle, but this one is easier to deal with as it is vulnerable to being stopped by Seal Evil. Hundred Gunner now also starts using Wave Artillery which hits for 200-ish damage, but it only used every few turns. We now want to use Matra Magic to damage both targets while keeping the Heli Gunner stopped. Once Hundred Gunner is gone, a couple of Bolts and Grenades ends the second Heli Gunner. We do have to look out for Spinning Bodyblow, as that does quite a bit of damage, but again we can stop the Heli Gunner with Seal Evil.
