Protect Vest is, again, useful here against Dyne, reducing the Shoot damage. I was going to go with Magic Counter + Restore, but then I realized that wasn't necessary, so I equipped Choco/Mog instead both for +50 Dex and the +15 Luck. The +5 Strength helps out a little, too. Also, the W-Machine Gun, if I remember correctly, adds another +45 Dex, so Barret is one speedy man here.

Basically, we haste up Barret, then go to work on him with normal attacks. I didn't bother using spells here because they're not necessary. Thanks to haste and Barret's high Dex stat, we get three turns to Dyne's one when he ISN'T slowed, and five turns when he is, so this battle doesn't last long at all. Heavy Shot can inflict Slow, which is slightly annoying, so we throw Haste back up to counter that and continue with normals and Deathblows. In the front row, Barret's passive allows him to get boosted attack power when he's hit, so that helps out a bit with damage. We do need to make sure we have enough HP to survive Desperado at the end, but due to Four Slots and Protect Vest, the damage it does is miniscule at best, and some of the hits will probably end up whiffing, anyway.
