Final Fantasy III #7 - Sewers of Amur & Goldor Manor
1Following Aria's prayer and sacrifice, the waters covering the surface recede, and the people trapped within them wake up and continue on with their lives; completely ignorant to the fact they had been frozen beneath the ocean.
Our heroes wake up in the city of Amur, and quickly find out that their airship has been claimed and locked down by Goldor, a mad king wannabe who controls a Crystal that turns everything he wants into solid gold.
Since his mansion is protected by a bottomless bog acting as a moat, we first must obtain a pair Levigrass Shoes in order to cross the bog safely. Luckily, the local witch(?) Delilah happens to have them, so we just need to pay her a visit. Down in the sewers of the town...
Also in Amur, we meet four funny fellows who believe themselves to be the actual Heroes of Light, and so they decide to get the shoes first. Of course they're quickly outmatched by the monsters in the sewers and end up in need of rescue. Thankfully, they repay the favor later on when Delilah tries to trick the heroes into catching explosives.
On Goldor Manor, we battle our way through a very opulent mansion made entirely out of gold. Goldor, upon being defeated smashes his crystal so nobody can have it. Our heroes don't know what will happen to the world now that one of the crystals was shattered, but at least they can now board their airship again.
As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
