TLoZ: Link's Awakening #3 - Dampé & Richard
1Getting the power bracelet opens a grand majority of the map to us, giving us access to most of Koholint to search for the next dungeon.
One notableperson we meet is Dampé, who is usually an undertaker, but here he seems to take more of a "treasure hunter" persona; he has access to a magic board that can take room tablets and turn them into real(istic) dungeons you can explore and loot- it's a whole new mini-game of sorts. I only do the tutorial for this video, but we may visit hit again later.
The main story progression segment of the chapter involves us visiting a man named Richard. He was made to flee for his life after his servants became evil; he doesn't seem to mind living in his frog-infested villa away from his castle, but he really wishes to be reunited with his collection of golden leaves.
Luckily for him I actually found the castle first! I had already collected all leaves before talking to him, so he quickly rewarded me with access to the field behind his villa. In Pothole Field, we can find the key to open the next dungeon: the Key Cavern.
As usual, the software belongs to its owners, I only record my gameplay for my own enjoyment.
