Lunar ifrit has a pretty nasty physical attack. It can deal around 1000 damage to one of your party members. He also his Flame attack, which can hit everyone for some massive damage. He can also cast Glare if he's hit by a Blizzard-type spell, with the Shiva summon includec. He also has his Fire and Firaga attacks, but he doesn't seem to use them as much as his other attacks.

Lunar Ifrit can be slowed down, which is what you'll want to do, because he's pretty fast. I didn't do this, however, but do as you wish, it makes this battle a little easier. You may want to Haste your characters if you want, but it's not required. But do not Berserk them, as you want to retain control over all of them.

Cecil should attack normally, and should have his Lightbringer equiped, which should randomly cast Holy for some extra damage. Edge should either attack normally or Throw items. The equipment I had on him did apparently more damage than his Flood attack did, but if Flood does more damage then your normal attacks, feel free to use it. The White Mage should cast Curaja on the whole team every round, as Ifrit an do a good amount of damage on your team. You COULD cast Blizzaga on him, but he'll counter with Glare, an annoying attack which can easily take one of your party members out. The Black Mages should, therfore, cast Meteor it will do nasty damage and he won't counter with Glare.
