I highly recommend to put the battle speed to 3 or higher, this will help you to think more about your decisions. Of course, set it to "Wait", so that everything stops when you're selecting an item or spell.

The very first thing you should do is cast Slow on Lunar Odin. Slowing him down will give your team more time to react, because Lunar Odin is actually pretty tough. He can deal some very serious damage. Though using Slow with the very slow battle speed may seem to slow the fight even more, but trust me when I say you'll need the extra time.

Lunar Odin has, like his normal form, an attack called Zantetsuken. It'll be your biggest threat for the entire battle since it will instantly cut off about 3000 HP from every character. If you have Kain, he can luckily avoid the attack by using Jump, though you have to be very precise with it. Once Lunar Odin used his Zantetsuken attack, you'll either be dead or near dead, so have your remaining party members revive and/or heal them up.

Lunar Odin is weak against Lightning, so you should use Thundaga against him. However, if you do not have this - which you should, then summon Bahamut for some fair damage. Holy works quite well on Lunar Odin, so cast that if Rosa isn't healing. Of course, Cecil's new sword - which you've gotten just before the fight, has a slight chance of casting Holy after the attack.
