PREVIOUSLY:
Garnet and Steiner rides the cable car to Summit Station, where they run into Marcus and Cinna from Tantalus, with the former searching for the item known as Supersoft to save his friend Blank from the Evil Forest, Garnet feels culpable for Blank's fate and agrees to help in Marcus's quest, much to Steiner's dismay. The trio boarded the car to Alexandria to reach Treno, the city of the nobles, midway though, they were attacked by a malfunctioning Black Waltz #3, which they defeated for good.

Arriving at Treno, the party split up, Garnet tried the city auction house, assuming that the rare item might be there, while Marcus meets up with Baku, who surprised him with information regarding the whereabouts of the super medicine.

The party regroups and sneaks into the basement of the baron's house, they eventually get caught, only to find out that it was Garnet's old tutor, Doctor Tot inside the house. The three escaped and met with the doctor in his tower residence nearby, he relinquishes the Supersoft willingly and advises them to take the secret pathway that was used during ancient times. Riding a carriage being carried by a huge insect-like creature called a gargant, they make their way to Alexandria via an underground tunnel.

Upon reaching the castle, they are caught in a trap by Zorn and Thorn, who were ordered by the queen to capture the princess by any means necessary.
