This is a playthrough on normal Difficulty of Final Fight Tough also known as Fina Fight 3. I edited out one complete continue vs the final boss as he chewed through my lives!
Also I managed to skip the Round 3 & Round 5 bosses by smashing the windows in Round 3 & entering the rooms in Round 5.
This is Final Fight 3 - a SNES/Super Famicom exclusive 2nd sequel. It addresses all the issues of the first game & then some!
Featuring 4 playable characters & simultaneous 2 player action this also has a nice feature where you can play solo but with the SNES CPU taking control of a second player for simulated 2 player action. It doesn't work perfectly but is a nice feature all the same.
Large detailed sprites, nice animation, responsive controls & even some secrets like being able to skip certain bosses etc.
The other big additions are the dash (& dash attacks) plus specials you can pull off using Street Fighter style commands & even Super Moves (that cause the screen to flash - take this as a warning)
I play through the normal difficulty here with Lucia. First time I've played this in a while so I mess up a few times. It plays well with fairly responsive controls & similar large colourful sprites to its prequel.
It is a great game - although I've always preferred Sega's Streets of Rage series but that's the Sega fan in me!) - & this is a very worthy sequel to the series & really builds on the gameplay of the earlier titles. The music is good but does repeat quite a lot. Still - a very solid SNES game.
This is my original Japanese cart that I got back in the day after the one PAL copy I ever saw on sale (in Virgin in London back in my student days) was sold when I went back) Saved a ton by getting the Japanese cart to be fair. First time I've played this in years & it all comes flooding back.
Check my other Final Fight videos. I'll be covering more of the games soon too :-)
I'm also sorting my loft and finding all sorts of obscurities, oddities and nice games from my collection so I'll be doing some random vids. Let me know if there is a console or game you'd like to see. Let me know if there are any games or consoles you'd like videos about. Let me know if you like the format (i.e. no voiceover and the addition of short facts). Want End Cards added to point out other similar videos? I'm just trying things really.
As always the game cart is played on original hardware - no emulation etc This is played on my modded PAL Super Nintendo at 60Hz. Captured through a Retrotink 5x purely for ease of capture.
As always if you enjoy this video let me know.
As always this is uploaded under the Fair Use Policy - no money is being made from this video.
