Even though we saved the chapel, it came at a huge loss for us, Jeralt is no longer with us, and the Knights of Seiros have left to search for the enemy. After Byleth's support conversation with Leonie that doesn't go well in the end, Claude borrows Jeralt's diary from Byleth to see if he can learn a bit more about the mystery behind Byleth's birth.

As for the rest of the description, I recommend watching the full video before reading past this point of the description

We get some really sad music for exploring the Monastery, as Jeralt is dead, and even worse is Leonie's B Support being locked till this point in the game, and it doesn't go that well in the end, specially right after Byleth has just lost her father.
In the scene with Monica, Thales, and the Flame Emperor, Byleth does not eavesdrop on them unlike in Blue Lions, instead Claude asks Byleth if he wants to check her father's diary, and if you refuse, Claude repeats himself until you accept, and we then learn that some of the knights have left to search for the enemy, so Catherine, Shamir, Gilbert, and Alois will not be present at the Monastery this month.
Then it is time to explore the Monastery, and one thing I didn't realize when I did my Blue Lions Playthrough is that Marianne and Hilda have different quotes if you have recruited both of them, because I thought that dialogue was exclusive to the Golden Deer route, and if you talk to Claude, he talks about Jeralt's diary, but aside from that, there isn't any different quotes from different units if you have recruited them.
We also see something very unusual is up, Bernadetta is not in her room, she will be at the Cemetery bringing some flowers for Jeralt, and when you check the grave, it is the same grave his wife was buried at, and you will see Jeralt's name engrave there as well.
Time to go over quests, the most important one is in Jeralt's room, talk to Sothis and you can pick up a ring, which is the exact one Jeralt showed Byleth back in Chapter 5, and this does become important later in the game, not going to give away when, but this is an important item to pick up.
There is one sidequest for this month, and it is a battle quest, and you can receive it from a soldier in the Knight's Hall.
Next is lost items, I will list which units have lost items in this chapter:
Edelgard (Black Eagles only), Dimitri (Blue Lions only), Claude (Golden Deer only), Dorothea, Dedue (Blue Lions only), Felix, Ingrid, Ignatz, Marianne, Hilda, Leonie, Seteth, Flayn, Manuela, Gilbert, Alois, Catherine, Shamir

This is the most lost items in one chapter, and neither Shamir, Catherine, Gilbert, or Alois are even present in the Monastery for this month, so we will have to wait till the next chapter to give them their lost items.
