For this week, I will be Surprise Trading Binacle, a Pokémon that I am not a huge fan of myself, it's just that I find Binacle to be a forgettable Pokémon, considering how many Rock/Water-type Pokémon we have had over the many games. At one point in the video, where it just cuts to the next trade, what happened was that there was no sound, and then it goes out of sync for a few seconds, and now back to normal again.
Much like my previous Surprise Trades, I breed for 31 IVs in at least 4 or 5 stats, and these Binacle have an Adamant Nature, Binacle can only get three Egg Moves, and only one is decent enough for it, those moves are Night Slash, Sand Attack, and Switcheroo, I will list which parents from the Water 3 Egg Group that can learn those moves.
Night Slash: Corphish, Crawdaunt, Skorupi, Drapion
Sand Attack: Wimpod, Golisopod
Switcheroo: Corphish, Crawdaunt (Requires Chain Breeding)

Those are some limited move options, considering how many Pokémon are in Binacle's Egg Group, and it has to chain breed with Corphish to get Switcheroo, and Corphish can get that move from Inkay or Malamar.
Then for Binacle's stats, it has good Attack and Defense, and its Speed is a bit average, and it has two good Abilities, Tough Claws to boost the power of its contact moves, and Sniper to boost its critical hit rate, and its evolved form Barbaracle has a wide Physical movepool, the downside is that Binacle doesn't evolve until Level 39.
Binacle doesn't get a good start in level up moves, because it will have Fury Cutter, Water Gun, and Ancient Power to start out, but later on is when it gets some nice moves, like Rock Polish, Slash, Hone Claws, Razor Shell, Shell Smash, and Cross Chop, when it evolves into Barbaracle, it can get Stone Edge.
Then for TMs and TRs, starting with TMs, Barbaracle can get Rock Slide, Thief, Screech, Dig, Beat Up, Brick Break, Rock Tomb, Rock Blast, Payback, Shadow Claw, Bulldoze, Brutal Swing, False Swipe, and a few other moves. For TRs, it can learn Swords Dance, Earthquake, Low Kick, Superpower, Iron Defense, Dragon Claw, Bulk Up, X-Scissor, Poison Jab, Stealth Rock, and Liquidation, even if it can get some Special moves like Ice Beam, Sludge Bomb, Surf, Grass Knot, Sludge Wave, and a few others, Barbaracle doesn't have that great of a Special Attack stat.
Then for Barbaracle in the competitive scene, it is outclassed by better Pokémon, including Drednaw, which shares the same type combination as Barbaracle, and while it does have access to Shell Smash, Cloyster and Blastoise outclass it in that role as well, and I'm sure that other Rock/Water-types, like Omastar, Kabutops, and Carracosta will outclass Barbaracle if ever they are brought back in the Crown Tundra update.
Time to go over Barbaracle in online battles, the best it can do is use Shell Smash, and what sets it apart from Cloyster is its better movepool, Barbaracle can use Liquidation and Stone Edge for its main STAB moves, and for a coverage option, Superpower, Poison Jab, and Earthquake are some good moves to have. The most popular held items are usually a Focus Sash or White Herb, and with Tough Claws, that will boost the power of Barbaracle's contact moves. Scope Lens and Sniper is not a bad choice on Barbaracle, but it is outclassed by Kingdra and Inteleon as far as that set goes.
Barbaracle is unfortunately not viable in Double Battles, because in the current format, Blastoise is the best Shell Smash user, and as far as Water-type Pokémon are in Double Battles, Primarina, Lapras, Gastrodon, and Dracovish are among the best in Double Battles, and for Rock-type Pokémon, Coalossal and Rhyperior outclass it, I guess the best it can do is use Shell Smash and attack with moves like Rock Slide and Liquidation, and have a coverage option in either Poison Jab, Brick Break, Superpower, or Shadow Claw, but aside from that, it's just outclassed by better Pokémon.
While Barbaracle is outclassed by better Pokémon, it does have some good usage in the lower tiers, it has a hard time standing out as a Physical Rock/Water-type, and specially if ever Carracosta or Kabutops is brought back in the next update for this game, because Barbaracle is a Pokémon that I'm not a huge fan of, and if I had a choice on who I prefer, I would take Kabutops over Barbaracle, although I do like Carracosta as well.
