Forest Navel Red Pikmin Only (Challenge Mode: 307)
8The only rule of Red Only is that you are completely disallowed from plucking any pikmin but red ones.
This one was really fun to do!
This was a fair bit easier than my FOH RO run. I collected absolutely everything that is simple to collect, and some things that are not so simple red only.
It took only a few resets to get my first breadbug double-red drop, but I lost that run because pikmin fell off the pearl cliff. It then took about 10 resets before I was able to finish a run.
Cool tricks/ things to note:
Throwing pikmin on the ledge by the pearl and simply whistling them to get them up the ledge without having to throw them the hard way. This is quite easy, but it's also easy to have some deaths if you aren't careful.
Possible ways to beat this score:
Figure out ways to get the pellets out of the water.
Push more stuff off the area where I collect the pearl.
A better route with better execution may allow you to collect more things, if it was ever figured out how to collect more stuff.
Honestly there isn't much to say about this one since there is only one cool trick and I finished it very easily in the time I had.
