Freespace 2: Renegade Resurgence - Let's Take a Closer Look
2This is the fifth mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a rookie pilot assigned to the 53rd Hammerheads, GTD Aquitaine. We are assigned to scout out enemy forces in Altair. Flying Pegasus stealth fighters, we must scan the subsystems of the destroyer RVD Skull and obtain scans of every warship in the area. Beta wing flying Rapiers will cover us for some reason, which is nothing but a risk to them since otherwise we would simply go undetected. But Command's going to do what Command's going to do, so let's do this.
