This is the ninth mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a rookie pilot on emergency reassignment to the 203rd Scorpions, GVD Memphis. The RVD Phemnos, a Hatshepsut class destroyer that the renegades have pulled out of their rears, has appeared to attack the blockade of the Vasuda Prime jump node in Sirius. We are being scrambled to cover the GVD Memphis as it engages the enemy destroyer.
