Freespace 2: Renegade Resurgence - Outnumbered and Outgunned
3This is the tenth mission of the Renegade Resurgence campaign for Freespace 2. I had intended to go into Freespace Blue, but I recently heard the news that TopAce, a prolific mod creator and contributor at Hard Light Productions who created this campaign, has sadly passed away. I'm playing his campaigns in his honor. We occupy the role of a rookie pilot on emergency reassignment to the 203rd Scorpions, GVD Memphis. We have been reassigned to the GTD Phoenicia in Vega, and must fly ourselves and escort surviving Terran personnel in transports out of Vasuda Prime. (Note there is a node inconsistency; there is no jump node direct to Vega from Vasuda.) Our task is to escort the pair of Isis transports to the node and then follow them through. We are escorted by Beta wing, who will return to base once we reach the node.
