What every base needs is a way down to the mine. I wanted a nice and big way down but don't spend too much building it. I think I found a rather nice technique thanks to "Tinker's Hammer" :)

Also taking care of the basic ore processing. I ended up with a standard solution, but don't worry, it is very temporary and will within very short be upgraded to new system and a new house.

As mentioned in the video, I will try to build as much as possible above ground this season. Even if basements are very practical due to shorter distances and so on I prefer houses and buildings..
