Announced in the latest Nintendo Direct is Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online, wasn't expecting that to come, but it was highly requested. At launch, there are a few Game Boy games that are part of it, like Super Mario Land 2: 6 Golden Coins, Tetris, Kirby's Dream Land, The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX, and Metroid II: Return of Samus.
The game I play in this video is Tetris, and in the settings, you can change the game screen to have it appear as they appeared on the original Game Boy, the Game Boy Pocket, or the Game Boy Color. Tetris came out in 1989 where it was a launch title and came bundled with the North American and European releases of the Game Boy, it is a puzzle game where you can rotate tetrominoes, and if a line is create, the tetrominoes disappear, clearing a line, and you get more points the more lines removed.
Tetris is the first game to be compatible with the Game Link Cable for multiplayer, and there have been many Tetris games on many consoles, like the DS, 3DS, and many others. Tetris was first released in 1984 on PC, but it wasn't till 1989 that the Game Boy got Tetris as a launch title, and I decided this was the game to start off Game Boy - Nintendo Switch Online.
