Getting PC Footage Using Fraps

3It is more difficult than you think. The biggest problem is trying to sync up audio with the picture. I think I've gotten the hang of the method but it would seem the more demanding games, Dirt especially as you'll see, struggle a little to keep up with the sound.
I imagine I'll be using FRAPS for older PC games because of this and perhaps be selective in what I pick. Storing files that are produced on a computer running at 1280x1024 can be alot larger than you expect. Fortunately, I'm recording the raw AVI. footage onto a drive with plenty of space.
So this is a work in progress anyway. I'll be sure to produce some viable results in time.
