Stellaris is an interstellar civilization simulator. You can select your core beliefs, make political decisions, slay great space beasts, and build structures even bigger than stars.

Much of the text is available in Russian. Buildings, resources, populations, and many other things are represented with icons and are explained with helpful tooltips. Learning the effects of edicts, ethics, traditions, and Senate decisions may require greater skill in reading. Explanations of anomalies, archaeological digs, and unique situations are accompanied with extensive exposition. Stellaris demands a more advanced vocabulary to learn to play in Russian. It is advisable to play in one's native language first to learn the basic mechanics.

There is no Russian speech in the base game. There are mods which add Russian voices for the advisor. Russian speech can be helpful for immersion and learning basic phrases regarding resource shortfalls, scientific discoveries, and souring diplomatic relations.
