Gametek released a lot of titles based on television game shows in the late eighties and nineties, but none of those shows were as physically gruelling as Gladiators! As there isn't a British Gladiators game (shame on you, Ocean/Alternative/US Gold) we're going to look at the American version, which is very similar to its UK counterpart.

The game was released on the SNES, Megadrive, Amiga & DOS and was very similar on those formats,give or take the odd flashy Mode 7 sequence on the Super Nintendo. The Nintendo Entertainment System version though, went a bit jazzy with the concept, which you will see here!
