===== ABOUT SUPER MECHAGODZILLA =====
He is the more powered-up version of the other boss Megagodzilla II. The main difference between the two is that Super Mechagodzilla is equipped with the Garuda airship, which also operates as a jetpack. This airship grants him several extra special moves as well as a double jump and faster dash, and can also be detached. When the airship is detached, he loses the Upwards Laser Cannons, double jump and faster dash - but gains two unique airship special moves.
===== ADDITIONAL INFORMATION =====
---- Despite Super Mechagodzilla and Mechagodzilla II being separate characters, if the both of them are selected (P1 and P2) then one of them will be in an alternative colour palette.
---- Despite normally being non-selectable in single-player mode, it is possible to complete the game with him in this mode without any problems. Surprisingly, he also has an ending image as well... which suggests that he may have been originally planned to be selectable in single-player mode.
---- As he isn't selectable in single-player mode, some minor glitches can occur when he is highlighted on the character select screen.
---- He doesn't seem to need to fight any of the boss Mechagodzillas to beat the game. However I have not tested this on all difficulty levels.
---- The game is known as Godzilla: Monster War in the West and Europe.
---- The North American version of the game was cancelled and never released. It was called Godzilla: Destroy all Monsters.
===== ABOUT GODZILLA KAIJUU DAIKESSEN =====
This is an excellent fighting game on the SNES... the graphics and animation are good, and the gameplay is solid. All the characters have a lot of special moves as well as their Holds and Super moves. As the game's characters are monsters, their "attack styles" will take some getting used to... especially if you're used to Street Fighter II style fighters.
