Saojin is a hidden character in the game, and she is an unlockable playable character through time release.
===== ABOUT SAOJIN =====
She has a love interest in Master Huang... she's based on a character named Thirteenth Aunt from the Once Upon a Time in China movie series. She is a comic-relief character for the most part, yet she's very capable of holding her own with a large set of moves.
Gameplay-wise she makes for a good rush-down character with some flexible close-up chains and a command basic that can be cancelled into various specials and supers. One of her Shadow Moves, the Curtain Call, is useful for getting out of tight situations.

===== ABOUT MARTIAL MASTERS =====
The game and it's characters are clearly inspired by and based on characters from various Hong Kong martial arts films, such as Once Upon a Time in China, Drunken Master and Operation Scorpio.
Martial Masters is a beautiful game created by Taiwanese developers IGS... as you can see, the graphics and animation are excellent, and definitely on par with some other great traditional 2D fighting games such as Vampire Savior. If you didn't know who developed it, you could easily mistake it for a Capcom fighting game.
The gameplay is good as well, as the hit pause and collision detection is just right. It seems to have taken inspiration from SF3:3S, judging by some of the game's mechanics.
