Gotta Customize 'Em All | Squirtle #7 | Custom Painted Game Boy Pocket
132Today’s star guest is Squirtle! This iconic generation 1 starter Pokémon surely deserves to be painted onto a Nintendo handheld. To be honest, I preferred Charmander and Bulbasaur over Squirtle, since they are just so cute. The motif itself was painted with Posca paint pens and sealed with clear varnish, so that it is protected from Squirtle’s Bubble Beam. By the way, this was the very first time I painted a Nintendo GameBoy Pocket, and I’m pretty satisfied how it turned out. 😊
This video is an episode of the huge community challenge “Gotta Customize 'Em All!“ hosted by LJ Minette and The Custom Way of Gaming. Our goal is to custom paint all original 151 Pokémon onto things like handhelds, consoles, phone cases, shoes and so on.
