Oh yeah, Mario Time! | Customizing Nintendo Switch Pro Controller with Posca Pens 🎨
53This year is Super Mario’s 35th anniversary. Therefore, we dedicate this video to the Italian plumber. There was a poll in the community tab, and you voted for Mario himself to be painted onto a Super Mario themed Nintendo Switch Pro Controller.
This time I painted the entire front plate of the controller. Of course, I left the backside of the controller as well as the grips untouched, so that the hands won’t cover the artwork when playing.
Without the help of Luigi, I could have never finished this custom painted Nintendo Switch Pro Controller?😅
For this artwork I used Posca paint pens once again. They were perfect for such a colorful artwork, and there was no big need for mixing colors, except for the shadings. Also, I have more experience with Posca markers than with Golden Fluid acrylics, which I also use from time to time.
