⚡ The Most Electrifying Eeveelution – Jolteon ⚡ | LPE #8 (Custom Painted Nintendo Game Boy)
44In the 8th episode of “Let’s Paint Eeveelutions” I paint Eevee’s electric-type eeveelution, Jolteon, onto an original Nintendo Game Boy. Jolteon can be a very important part of a team due to its fast speed. Also, its ability Volt Absorb is pretty nice, especially in the newer generation Pokémon games.
For painting the motif itself I used Golden Fluid Acrylics, which I mixed in order to obtain the correct colors. The outlines were made with a black Posca paint pen and for the inner lines I used a permanent marker from Staedtler. When I paint with acrylic paints I use a wet palette, which help the mixed paint stay wet for a longer time. That makes painting a lot easier. For a DIY wet palette you can wet a sponge cloth and cover it with baking paper. There are great tutorials on YouTube in case you’d like to build one for yourself.
